The National Black MBA Association, Inc. (NBMBAA) is a non-profit organization of minority MBAs, business professionals, entrepreneurs, and MBA students. With over 8,000 members’ world-wide working in both private and public sectors, the NBMBAA’s mission is to lead in the creation of economic and intellectual wealth in the African-American community. The strength of the NBMBAA as an organization lies in its extensive network of local chapters. Through its 44 professional chapters nationwide and 15 Collegiate Chapters, the NBMBAA keeps abreast of issues affecting members across the country and around the world.
The Boston Chapter NBMBAA is 300 members and growing with a distribution to over 2,000 professionals, graduate students, and entrepreneurs in the New England Region. We provide monthly professional development seminars targeted to seasoned and senior professionals, career exploration, corporate recruiting and networking events, “Power Diversity Career Fair”, Leaders of Tomorrow Program and community activities to keep members informed, involved and connected throughout the year.
An organization that advocates graduate business education, the Boston Chapter provides full undergraduate and graduate scholarships through their partnerships with Bentley University, Brandeis University, and Northeastern University.
An NBMBAA Membership is open to all undergraduate and graduate disciplines, as well as entrepreneurs. We offer several membership options based on professional level and affiliation: Lifetime-Member, Full-Member, Associate Member and Student Member.
