IELTS

IELTS is a globally-recognized comprehensive test of the complete range of English language skills—listening, reading, writing, and speaking.  IELTS is jointly managed worldwide by the British Council, IDP Education Australia: IELTS Australia and the University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations (Cambridge ESOL). Globally over 6000 institutions recognise IELTS results. Australian institutions only recognise IELTS. IELTS is the preferred test result in UK, Ireland, New Zealand and other Commonwealth countries. Over 2100 US institutions now recognise IELTS results including many top institutions favoured by Chinese students and the eight ‘Ivy league’ schools. All Canadian universities recognise IELTS. English language courses in France, Denmark and Finland also require IELTS results.
