Travel Package

We take care of you from the moment you arrive in the first city on the Tour!

Remove the stress and hassle of travel planning by selecting one of our popular Travel Packages throughout many of our regional recruiting tours. This gives you the benefit of our group rates with hotels, airlines, and affordable airport transfers by traveling with the rest of the group on safe and air-conditioned buses. You can rely on our experienced staff to make all of your travel arrangements so you can focus your time on connecting with candidates. Not only will you be able to focus on applicant outreach, but you also have the opportunity to travel and connect with your colleagues in the industry.

Travel Packages Include:

  • Airfare from the first city to the last city within the travel package you select
  • Single room accommodations in 4-5 star hotels with full breakfast and internet included
  • Airport transfers during group travel, including airport taxes where applicable
  • Professional tour leaders who travel with the group from city to city.

    Travel packages can be split among more than one traveler, however there are no refunds for unused airline segments or hotel nights and any additional costs incurred as a result must be absorbed by the business school.

This is a great way for candidates to become familiar with your school and representative before an event.

Event Do’s and Don’ts Video Series: 3 Video clips This series is an opportunity for your admission representative to provide helpful pre-event advice to tour registrants before attending the events. Questions will focus on pre-event, onsite and post event advice. The clips are recorded virtually at least 1 month in advance of each tour and promoted as a pre-event resource on the website event pages and in event email updates to registrants. This is a great opportunity for registrants to become familiar with your school and hear your advice before meeting you in person at the events. A school’s advice videos will be featured in at least 2 tours that correspond with tour participation.

Hangout with a Student Video Series: 4 Video Clips This series allows for potential applicants to hear the great things about your program from a current student. The student will choose from a list of questions to answers about their background, academic experience, campus life, school culture, and future student advice. We will provide full support for scripting, production, and promotion of videos. Business schools provide student contacts and approve final content in interviews.

The MBA Tour offers dedicated time and space for 1 to 1 and small group meetings with top candidates during our conference events!

You will have allotted time in a MeetUp designated room to meet face to face with high quality candidates that are pre-selected and invited by you prior to the event.

Our newly re-designed MeetUp 2.0 system makes it easy for you to pre-screen candidates and send meeting invitations:

1. Gain access to detailed candidate information: resume, student interest in your school, student intent to apply to your program, GMAT score, work experience, geographical preference, and more. Use this comprehensive candidate information to help filter through to your ideal candidates!

2. Use our calendar system to send invitations and to populate your MeetUp event schedule.

TheMBATourMatch

A service for schools that do not have the resources or time to find and schedule candidates for MeetUps or MeetUp Networking events. A school will designate what type of candidates to target and we will manage inviting and confirming MeetUps for the event. During the busy travel season, The MBA Tour staff can assist in confirming MeetUps until the day before an event to take advantage of all registrants who are interested in your program and who you are targeting.

Event Pre and Post Registration Data

Registration data and contacts available for download and outreach 30 days before events and within 3 days or sooner after event. All participating universities can send 1 email before and 1 email after an event and unlimted emails to scanned contacts.

Data EXCLUDES on average 8-12% of registants who OPT-OUT of receiving business school emails. EXCEPTION, if registrant is scanned by a school, the contact info will be in school scan downloads, but not on the general registration download.

Event Registration Data & Demographics Report

Before and after an event The MBA Tour provides a comprehensive report to help schools better assess the event registration demographics. The report includes candidate data on average work experience, average age, GMAT test taking, educational background, and professional background among other data.

Scanners

The MBA Tour provides a scanner to each participating business school to instantly capture candidate contact info at events and eliminate extra office work. After an event schools can download the registration and contact data of scanned attendees usually within 24 hours and no later than 3 days.

Individual School Presentations

Admissions representatives regard the presentations as one of our most useful event formats. The presentations are an opportunity to showcase your unique program aspects to a group of prospective students. You have 30-35 minutes in a private room to highlight the features of your program. Typically there are three to six other universities presenting in concurrent sessions. Individual School Presentations are now offered at all events except Round Table Workshops & Middle East private events.

Panel Presentations

Panel Presentations are 30-45 minute sessions that cover valuable business school admissions topics and answer a wide range of MBA applicant questions. Schools have the opportunity to participate on the panels and share topic advice with a large group of prospective students. Any participating admissions representative can be a panelist; spots are first come first served.

MBA Fair

The Fair is strategically placed at the end of our MBA conferences. This allows candidates to first gather information from the Individual School Presentations and Panel Presentations in order to prepare for speaking one-on-one with you at the fair. At the MBA Fair you and your alumni have the opportunity to meet with a large number of applicants in a short period of time. Maximum of 4 people may represent a school at a table during the open fair.

These are 1 to 1.5 hour mini fairs that take place before the main MBA conference. This a great opportunity for you to target candidates for your MS programs in addition to the MBA program. MS fairs are offered in select cities, see registration page for list.

Round Table Workshops

Round Table Workshops are highly personalized and interactive; they represent the most unique MBA Tour event format. These events accommodate a select and focused group of highly qualified applicants and a small number of business schools to maximize interaction. Candidates sit at a table of five to ten people. You will spend 10 to 15 minutes interacting with candidates and then rotate to present at the next table. You therefore have the opportunity to speak to every candidate at the event, maximizing outreach in a short period of time.
