The MBA Tour has an immediate opening for a European Director. We
are looking for a “self starter” who is motivated to
work independently. The ideal candidate must have an outgoing personality
to work with clients. Networking skills are key for this position.
This position also requires attention to detail, strong team and
problem-solving skills, and a willingness to take on a breadth of
responsibilities.
Role: Full time client relations and market development for Europe.
Tour leader for Europe and Asia, or North America
Location: Europe or US (relocation to Europe after one year)
Compensation: Starting salary commensurate with past experience.
Experience and skills: Advanced degree desired, ideally in business,
marketing, communications, psychology, or higher education. Minimum
8-10 years experience in an MBA marketing/admissions role, or in
an international business development role in a service business.
A working knowledge of the MBA industry in Europe is an advantage.
Fluent English is a necessity, German desirable and other languages
a considerable advantage.
The MBA Tour has an opening for a Tour Leader. The ideal candidate
must be outgoing and enjoy working with clients. Experience working
with international cultures is a must. This position also requires
attention to detail, strong team and problem-solving skills, and
a willingness to take on a breadth of responsibilities.
Role: Tour development and delivery, including (but not limited
to):
• Plan and coordinate events and activities
• Create tour itinerary
• Coordinate tour logistics with Event Manager and other team
members
• Database updates and post-tour MBA market reports
• Content development for tour members’ web page
• Coordinate registration with local contractors
• Assist with tour evaluations and collecting client feedback
Location: Position works remotely. Connects with Boston-based team
regularly via email and conference calls.
Compensation: Contract position.
Experience and skills: University degree required. Experience working
in an MBA marketing/admissions role, or in an international business
development role in a service business preferred. A working knowledge
of higher education is an advantage. Fluent English is a necessity,
other foreign languages a plus.
